Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy

Privacy policy
DW Reusables considers your privacy important. The EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into force from 25 May 2018, does not change this. This regulation replaces the former Privacy Directive 95/46/EC from 1995. The main difference is that we will communicate more transparently what personal data we hold and what we do with that data.
Although most of the information on this site is available without you having to provide personal data, in certain cases we will ask you to do so. From now on, we can only use that data with your explicit consent. By subscribing to our newsletter or purchasing a product from our webshop, you consent to the use of your data to communicate with you and/or to fulfil a contractual obligation (home delivery of a product).

What data do we collect from you?
For marketing, sales and communication purposes, we collect the following data via the website:
Your name and first name
Your company e-mail address
Address data (optional, if relevant, e.g. to send something)
From the customers of our webshop, we also collect the necessary company information and billing information to send the purchased goods.

DW Reusables can collect anonymous or aggregated data of a non-personal nature, such as browser type or IP address, the operating system you use or the domain name of the website that led you to and from the DW Reusables website. This enables us to optimise the DW Reusables website permanently for its users.

What do we use your information for?
We use your data in the framework of our own marketing and sales activities:
To inform you about our products, marketing activities via newsletters, e-mail, etc.
to inform you about your participation in our promotions and to fulfil our agreements,
to inform you about your purchases on the webshop and to handle/ship your purchases,
to handle your complaints or questions,
to improve our products and services.
We will never pass on your personal data to third parties without your express permission.

How long do we keep your data?
Data you have provided us with in the framework of marketing and sales activities are kept as long as the relationship with you and DW Reusables is active or until you ask us to change/remove them.

Inspection of your data
As a user, you can always oppose the use of these details for direct marketing, free of charge and on request. To do so, please contact DW Reusables via info@dwreusables.com .
In accordance with this GDPR regulation, you have a legal right to inspect, possibly correct or remove your personal data. Provided that you provide proof of your identity (copy of your identity card), you can request access to your personal data free of charge by sending a written, dated and signed request to DW Reusables, stating your address and e-mail address.

Security of your data
DW Reusables saves your data in one central and secure place on our server so that third parties cannot access your personal data.

What is considered personal data?
Art. 4.1. GDPR: "any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("the data subject"); an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person."
Personal data is therefore any information that can directly or indirectly identify a natural person. So also: IP addresses, human tissue, anonymous vs. pseudonymous data: (only in the case of anonymisation one can no longer speak of personal data).
